The session on “Numerical Methods and Modeling for Lightweight Structures” is targeting the important field of numerical modelling of lightweight structures such as tensile structures, grid-shells or tensegrity structures, as well as their analysis. Within the scope of this session lies the process of numerical description and modelling from a geometrical and structural point of view, including interactive and parametric design processes, as well as the numerical methods which are used for the design and analysis.
